Marlon's quest is a key step for your character's evolution, with it you'll be able to use skill combos (Blade Knight only) and receive an additional point per level.
Currently, the warriors of the MU continent have been granted the powers of those qualified as imperial warriors, but these powers have not reached their full potential. Due to the concerns of Arka's mage, Etramu, that they might not yet be able to wield these powers properly, their amplifiable abilities have been sealed. As a result, their true capabilities remain suppressed. However, the time is approaching for these warriors to attain the necessary qualifications to fully harness their abilities. For those heroes who are finally ready to absorb this power, a path will be revealed.
Those who obtain the legendary treasure known as the "Ring of Honor" and the artifact capable of creating new powers, the "Dark Stone", will inherit the true strength of a king and grow in power. The Ring of Honor is said to possess the ability to restore life and grant eternal youth. It was created alongside the prophetic book Sekromicon and has been revered as a sacred relic. However, its whereabouts have been unknown since the three Demon Wars. If one can find the Ring of Honor, they will reclaim the sealed power and achieve growth.
Marlon is a loyal guard who works for the 'Church of Devias', assisting as a guard in various cities. He has received intel which suggests rumors of the Ring of Honor, a sacred item lost during Giaon's revolt, being located near Tarkan. Anyone which equips the Ring of Honor can be blessed with its magical additional abilities and strength. The ring was created at the time which the 'Secromicon' was created, with the exact same indestructible metallic materials. The ring was then blessed by Etramu to prevent evil from manipulating its power. Agree to find the item for 'Marlon' and he will show you how to gain its ability first.

The Ring of Honor is a sacred item which was created during the time the Secromicon was created. The two sacred items were created with identical indestructible materials, in which created the most sacred pieces of history to ever exist. The ring was created with great magical power, which was told to bring everlasting youth to its possessor. Some tales even say it has the ability to bring the dead back to life. Because of its great possible strength, Etramu casted a magical spell on it, ridding evil from manipulating its potential power. However, Kundun's invasion inevitably became this item's history, as it was lost during Giaon's revolt. Retrieving the sacred item would be a great step to recovering the empire's lost faith.
Captain Marlon is a veteran, surviving dozens of battles with injuries that would otherwise kill a weaker men. After his last battle, he retired and has decided to train younger generations to fight and protect the lands of Mu. After clicking on the NPC Marlon, it will tell you a story about a legendary treasure lost on the continent of Mu.
I have something to ask of you. Would you lend me your ear? I would like to ask you to find the Ring of Honor for me.
The Ring of Honor is the greatest relic of all; given by the God of Light, Rugard, to the heroes who were victorious in the war against Sekneum.
If we don't find the Ring of Honor, something bad may happen to the continent. You can work on this if you have 3 million zen. Would you like to try?
From the information I've gathered, the Ring of Honor seems to be closer than I thought. It might be around Atlans, Tarkan or Icarus.

You have found the Ring of Honor! I knew you could do it!
I told you this already, but the Ring of Honor was given by the God of Light, Rugard, to the heroes of the Divine War. Other than the three heroes we already know, there was also Kundun Mephis - the Great Mage of Arca, and Gaion Kalein - The Vice. But as you know, Great Mage Kundun Mephis and Vice Commander Gaion Kalein were stained with darkness, and their Ring of Honor were lost.
The Ring of Honor contains the sacred power of Rugard, so if Kundun used it with evil intentions, it would be definitely catastrophic. That's why the empire's guards have been trying so hard to find the Ring of Honor.
We are very relieved and and grateful to you for bringing back the Ring of Honor. I've already submitted a report regarding your performance to the 'Twelve Disciples of Light', who serve Rugard. Thank you for finding the Ring of Honor."
As a token of gratitude, I would like to tell you useful information, since you have trained so hard as a Blade Knight... There's this fighting method that is passed on secretly within the empire's army. It's only taught to people who have trained for a long time as a Blade Knight. If you are interested, I can teach it to you.
Congratulations, but not for everyone: After delivering the Ring of Honor you will complete the Marlon quest and automatically receive Hero Status. Upon receiving Hero Status the character receive 6 stats points by level. Muse Elf will unlock Infinity Arrow (Season 2 or above), but if you want to use the combo in Blade Knight class your journey continues below...
To enable the use of combos in the class you will need to continue your journey as Marlon.
He has received intel that suggests rumors of the Dark Stone, an ancient treasure of the Knight's tribe, being located on the continent. The Dark Stone was blessed with magical power, which can be used to learn a special combat skill. Agree to find the item for Marlon, and he will show you how to use its ability.
On the other hand, the Dark Stone is a mysterious gem said to have been formed from the blood spilled by the hero Benelrope during the Demon Wars. It is believed that those who obtain it will be granted new abilities. However, the Dark Stone bestows its power only on those who are deemed worthy, possessing the qualifications of a great hero.
Hero Benelrope, a descendant of knights, devoted himself to honing his skills and magic after the defeat in the Demon Wars, gathering strength and willpower. His techniques, perfected to counter the soul-consuming magic of Sekneum and the overwhelming dark magic of Kundun’s forces, were quietly passed down only to warriors of knightly lineage.
For those who meet the qualifications, the Dark Stone will grant them the abilities of the hero Benelrope.
Bring 2 million zen talk to him and follow the steps below:
The quest Dark Stone drops from monsters between level 72 ~ 108. The item drops from all monsters in the following maps:
Dark Stone is an ancient treasure known to have been sacred to the Knight's tribe. Most records of the item appear to have vanished, but it was discovered that some of Kundun's minors may be exploiting its power! Not much information is necessarily known about the item, but it is known to have the ability to grant great strength and knowledge to its possessor. Although powerful, only descendants of the Knight's tribe will be able to understand and learn its abilities.
Return to Marlon and hand over the Dark Stone. See the example below indicating where you should click:
